JUDGING CRITERIA AND SCHOLARSHIP MONEY

The essays will be judged on meaningful, specific, and organized content with focus and depth of development that is distinctive due to originality and effectiveness of expression. Judges will also consider correct and effective grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

The scholarship money will be paid directly to the college or university when the winners enroll in the college or university of his/her choice even if the winner is receiving another scholarship. Scholarship money will be used for tuition fees only.
